What you can look forward to:The PMO & Transition Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful ramp-upof the GBS center, as well as managing future scope expansions.

This role involvesdetailed project planning, resource management, and execution of transition andchange management strategiesThe key responsibilities of this role are:Project Management & Planning:Develop detailed project and resource plans for the initial ramp-up of the GBS center and future scope extensions Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management plan to mitigate potential roadblocks Collaborate with department leads to ensure alignment of the GBS center's growth with business objectivesTransition & Change Management:Manage and steer transition manager team, allocating resources in line with the transition plan to meet the overall transition timelineExecute transition strategies, ensuring smooth integration of new processes and effective change managementMonitor and address potential resistance or challenges to change across departmentsEnsure all new processes and systems meet quality and compliance standards during the transitionCollaborate with other PMO offices for a streamlined approach and knowledge exchangeReporting: Prepare regular status reports and updates on transition progress, risks, and performance for leadership and key stakeholdersCreate transparent communication pathways to share real-time updates with relevant stakeholdersRegularly review and update project documentation, ensuring it is aligned with ongoing transitionsCommunication Facilitation:Establish and maintain regular communication and feedback loops between headquarters and GBS centers to ensure alignmentServe as the point of contact between cross-functional teams to address issues and share best practicesTraining & Onboarding:Coordinate with HR and department leads to develop training programs for new hires transitioning into the GBSOversee the creation of onboarding materials and process documentation to ensure new employees are equipped to succeedlead workshops and training sessions on new systems, tools, and processes for teams undergoing transitions What we are looking forEducation and Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in project management, change management, or transitioning functions within a GBS or shared services environmentProven experience in managing large-scale transitions, including ramp-up and process migrations; experience in an international environment is a plusSkills and CompetenciesStrong project management skills, including resource planning, timeline management, and risk mitigationExcellent change management and transition planning abilitiesStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability towork across different departments and geographiesProblem-solving and analytical thinkingProficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira) and collaboration platformsCertification in Project Management Principles or Lean/Agile is a pluAdditional InformationAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyLanguage proficiency: German and English (B2);Willingness to travel as required for transition activities
