Lead Data Engineer - Lisbon (Hybrid) Descrição da função Sysmatch is an IT Consultancy and Outsourcing , resulting from the accumulation of know-how and the experience of our consultants, allowing the implementation of solutions adapted to the needs of our clients, privileging their robustness and scalability.

At the moment we are looking for the following candidate: Lead Data Engineer - Lisbon (Hybrid) Profile: o Strong experience in end-to-end data architecture and design, including ingestion, modeling, storage, and orchestration (ex.

Medallion). o Proficiency in cloud-native engineering, with a focus on Microsoft technologies (Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse) but open to other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) with comparable tools. o Hands-on experience with data warehousing and data lake solutions (e.g., BigQuery, Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, Amazon Redshift). o Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (with data-related libraries: e.g.

Pandas, Boto3), SQL, or Spark. o Strong knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL Server) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, ElasticSearch, GBQ). o Experience with DevOps/DataOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines. o Ability to implement data validation, lineage, documentation, and monitoring at scale. o Proven ability to optimize pipelines and storage solutions for performance, cost, and reliability. o Strong technical leadership experience, with proven ability to guide teams and communicate effectively. o English proficiency should be at least B2 level.
