Job Summary: The Accounting Analyst is responsible for supporting hotel accounting operations with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable and revenue control.

This role ensures accurate revenue recognition, timely invoicing and collections, and close collaboration with the Revenue Management team to analyse performance, validate revenues across all sales channels, and support monthly financial closings in compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department
  • Process weekly, biweekly, or monthly payroll for employees
  • Calculate payslips, overtime, bonuses, and deductions (taxes, benefits, garnishments)
  • Apply mandatory deductions (Personal Income Tax – IRS, Social Security contributions, wage garnishments, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with Tax Authority reporting obligations
  • Maintain and update employee payroll and contractual records
  • Verify timesheets and attendance records
  • Ensure compliance with Tax Authority reporting obligations
  • Prepare payroll reports
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with the Portuguese Labour Code
  • Support internal and external audits Requirements:
  • Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Administration, or related fields, or relevant professional experience in the area
  • Previous experience in payroll processing
  • Knowledge of labour legislation and HR procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR information systems (PRIMAVERA)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Portuguese and English languages.
