Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Tech Lead to join our team in Helsinki, focusing on Python Production Support.
This role is ideal for a senior professional with strong technical expertise and leadership experience in managing production environments and ensuring high service availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead production support activities, proactively identifying and resolving issues using observability tools to reduce MTTD and MTTR.
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python-based applications.
Manage incident, problem, and change processes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Oversee production deployments, batch job management, and environment stability.
Coordinate major incident management, including triage, stakeholder communication, and post-incident reporting.
Monitor and improve SLAs and KPIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, infrastructure, business stakeholders).
Support 24/7 operations when required and coordinate onsite/offshore teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience in application support (L2/L3) and maintenance.
Strong experience with Python development and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Solid background in production support, incident management, and monitoring tools (APM, logs, alerts).
Experience with CI/CD, automation, and production deployments.
Knowledge of batch processing, dashboarding, and system optimization.
Fluency in English.
Nice to Have:
Experience in the telecommunications domain.
Knowledge of SOX compliance processes.
